ABOUT THE PROJECT
Embark on an exciting journey of cultural exploration and sustainable fashion innovation with our Youth Exchange Program in Albania! Over the course of seven days, participants will engage in a diverse range of activities designed to inspire creativity, collaboration, and intercultural understanding. From interactive workshops on sustainable fashion and weaving techniques to insightful lectures on the fashion industry’s impact, participants will gain valuable knowledge and skills. They’ll also have the opportunity to explore Albania’s rich heritage through sightseeing excursions and intercultural evenings. The program culminates in the creation of unique fashion collections, combining denim and recycled materials, followed by a photoshoot to capture their creations.
At the heart of the project lies the advocacy for sustainable fashion practices. Through hands-on workshops and talks, participants will explore the complex impact of the fashion industry on the environment and society. By highlighting these issues, the project aims to foster a sense of accountability and awareness, motivating participants to adopt sustainable methods in design and consumption.
PROJECT OBJECTIVES
- Cultural Exchange: Facilitate meaningful interactions and exchanges between young people from diverse cultural backgrounds to foster mutual understanding and appreciation.
- Sustainable Fashion Awareness: Raise awareness among participants about the environmental and social impacts of the fashion industry and promote sustainable practices in fashion design and consumption.
- Creative Collaboration: Encourage collaboration and teamwork among participants to develop innovative solutions and creative expressions in the field of fashion and design.
- Skill Development: Provide participants with opportunities to enhance their communication and creative skills through hands-on drama workshops, lectures, and practical activities.
- Intercultural Learning: Participants from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Egypt, and Slovenia will learn from each other’s diverse cultures, fostering mutual respect and understanding.
PARTICIPANTS PROFILE
- Aged 16-30
- Motivated to apply the learned skills in daily practice
- Open to networking with like-minded individuals
- Ready to fully participate in the project activities and dissemination
- Good knowledge of the English language
- Motivated to engage fully in all scheduled activities and contribute positively to group discussions and projects
- Respectful towards fellow participants, organizers, and the local community, open to embracing diversity and cultural difference
ACCOMMODATION, FOOD & TRAVELLING

Each morning, participants will gather at the hotel lobby and travel by bus to the day’s activities. Three meals and coffee breaks will be provided.
