“Mentoring through Nature” is a seminar designed to delve into the art of mentoring in youth work, encompassing various methods rooted in nature, mindfulness, embodiment, eco-art, poetry with an ecocentric approach.

“Mentoring through Nature” is a seminar that invites participants to embark on a transformative journey exploring the fascinating art of mentoring in youth work. Throughout the seminar, we will dive into a range of innovative methods that draw inspiration from nature, mindfulness, embodiment, eco-art, poetry, and embrace an ecocentric approach.

This seminar offers a unique opportunity to deepen your understanding and expand your mentoring toolkit through the lens of an ecocentric approach.

During this seminar will address:

  • The art of Mentoring through Nature: Explore an ecocentric approach, fostering a deep connection between youth and nature while recognizing interdependence. Nature as a co-mentor. 
  • Mindfulness and Embodiment: Cultivate a centered compassionate presence as a mentor through mindfulness and embodiment practices, creating a safe space for growth for the mentee.
  • Poetry and Eco-Art: Harness the transformative power of poetry and eco-art to encourage self-expression, reflection, imagination and ecological awareness in mentoring.
  • Earth-Heart Community: Join a network of like-minded mentors dedicated to youth well-being and the environment, fostering collaboration and innovative approaches to mentoring through nature.

No prior experience in mentoring or specific artistic skills are required. All that is needed is your curiosity, openness, and willingness to learn and grow as a mentor.

What will be included:

– A special digital journal to track your practice of mentoring through nature.

– Shared common materials and resources to deepen your understanding and expand your mentoring toolkit.

– Certificate of attendance, acknowledging your participation in the seminar. 

Seminar facilitators:

ELENI KARDAMITSI:  Eleni is a trainer and a sustainability coach supporting organisations, professionals and organisations to be their sustainable selves and entities. Through simple daily practices, Eleni coaches individuals and teams to expand in creativity, authenticity and gratitude. She has a 10-year experience in training and facilitation in the field of activism, community building, empowerment, mindfulness and nature-based learning.

SARA MARZO: Sara is a trainer and apprentice Nature Coach from Italy guiding individuals and groups to become more conscious human beings and to connect authentically to themselves, to others and to nature, to engage in meaningful actions in their lives and to better impact our planet Earth. She has more than 10 years of experience in international project management and youth work. She brings expertise in mindfulness, eco-somatic practices, ecopsychology and nature-based methods to her work.

Participation fee:
Participation in the seminar requires a participation fee based on reciprocity from a sliding scale of 20-50 euros, according to your economic possibilities. This fee helps sustain the seminar and ensure its quality. Please consider contributing according to your means to support the continuation of such initiatives.
