Youthpass Heart Corps – facilitated online course

17 October – 21 December 2022 | online, Germany

This is the new edition of the online course that helps you support the participants of the European Solidarity Corps. It is open for project organizers, mentors, and other support persons as well as young people organising Solidarity projects.

IMPORTANT NOTE: even though there is a deadline due to the system behind these calls, the course will be OPEN starting from 17.10.2022 and there is NO SELECTION PROCEDURE.

  • A mentor who wants to learn how to support the learning journey of volunteers;
  • Organising a Solidarity project and want to make the most of it

Then, the Youthpass <3 Corps Online Course is for you!

Youthpass <3 Corps online course aims to empower and equip youth workers – and other support persons – with the information and competences they need to guide the learning journey of the participants and implement the Youthpass process.

At the end of this course, you will understand the learning journey of a participant in a European Solidarity Corps project, and how Youthpass can be implemented along the way. You will gain tools and concrete ideas on how to make reflection and self-assessment an engaging and meaningful process.

Target group

The target groups of this training course are project organisers and support persons within the European Solidarity Corps programme including mentors, supervisors, youth workers as well as young people carrying out a Solidarity Project. Additionally, everyone who is interested in supporting learning processes is welcome to join and explore the resources available.

Course end: 21 December 2022

Facilitation

The course includes nine modules that will be accessible on the HOP online learning platform. Each module will include various information and a practical activity that helps explore the module content. Starting from 17 October, each Monday a new module will be made available. Between 17 October 2022 and 21 December 2022, the online course will be facilitated. The facilitated period includes forum discussions and online meet-ups, in addition to the nine modules.
