Within the scope of our approved project 2021-1-TR01-ESC51-VTJ-000037432, Highly Motivated Volunteers are kindly invited to short and long-term volunteering services starting from July or August 2022. In this frame, our association is inviting you to volunteering team for two months or individual volunteering for 10 months in Ankara / Turkey.
In this volunteering opportunity, the participants from EU countries and Erasmus+ program countries are eligible between 18-30. In this frame travel costs and if needed visa costs will be reimbursed. Also; accomodation, volunteer allowance, and food money will be provided for each month.
ACTIVITIES
For the environment topic we will be “Ankara Greeners” and we’ll collect the garbages from the parks for contributing the green. Also, planting activities will be implemented.
In the frame of online digital activities, the volunteers will be implementing webinars related to 2030 EU targets, vlogs about volunteership and related topics , S&G Monthly Magazine that reports our activities monthly.
For the inclusion topic, volunteers will provide language courses in their own mother tongue. An English Conversation Club will also be implemented at the Office of S&G. In the meantime, sports activities will be held in this frame.
In the frame of the Digital Transformation the volunteers will be help regular Office Works in a digital way, also they will learn and implement video editing, editing website and and basic design.
In the frame of our new project, we will also implement one activity about “European year of Youth” Therefore one of our activities will be creating a podcast about the European union targets.We will speak with people on our podcast about green Europe, digitalization, inclusion, and more… You can see the branding on the next page. The podcast will be released twice per month on our Spotify page. Speakers will consist of local Turkish youth, our volunteers involved in the project, and refugee youth. The three topics mentioned above will be deepened and specific topics will be discussed within the scope of this strategy once a week until the end of the year. Podcasts will be recorded in our office and it will be the duty of the coordinator to edit and broadcast them.
ACCOMODATION
System and Generation Association has been hosting hundreds of volunteers since its time of establishment. We provide for a set of activities so that volunteers-to-be find their space to contribute in the sectors where they feel more suitable for. S&G offers a friendly envioronment and tons of opportunities for personal growth, considering the support we give to the sense of initative that one can have. Given, we do not only present our activities as something routine to be done, but as a passion that should be fueled each and every day of your volunteering. We have chosen the volunteering activities having evaluated that local community most needs it. Our volunteers are hosted in two volunteer houses.
