Prilika za volontiranje u Sloveniji: Volunteering in Youth Center Bob

Zavod Bob is searching for volunteers who are interested to be a part of vibrant collective and collaborate in Youth Center Bob and LivadaLAB. It offers youth a safe place, free time and social activities, personal support and information. It’s purpose is to activate (vulnerable) youth and encourage their participation and active citizenship by supporting them in discovering their potential, competence development or realization of project ideas.

In addition it is a (working) place for various project groups and there is a wide range of international and community projects going on. We are searching for a volunteer that will be included in the whole process of the youth center, being part of the working team thus participating in planning, implementation and evaluation. Special focus is on candidates who are passionate in photography/graphic design/social media promotion.

ACCOMMODATION, FOOD AND TRANSPORT ARRANGEMENTS

As a part of volunteering project we will provide you an appropriate accommodation (a room in an apartment with 3 other volunteers) and we will cover your accommodation, food, transport and pocket money expenses.

TRAINING DURING THE PROJECT

As a part of volunteering project you will get a support/course of Slovenian language and will be able to join all of the trainings that will be organized for a work collective of the hosting association during the mobility period. You will also have a training for volunteers at the arrival and mid-term evaluation training.

VOLUNTEER PROFILE

We are searching for candidates that are teamworkers, reliable, interested in dynamic work and like to work with youth. The working language is English. We would like that volunteer is involved in all youth center activities (DIY, debates, movie nights, table football, …) and promotion (photography, photo/video editing, design of flyers, promotion on social media, participation at public events,). Readiness to implement sport/creative/technical/music workshops (learning a language, playing instruments, hand skills, working with wood, furniture…) is preferable. Driving licence is a plus.
