Do you want to work with governmental representatives, in a spirit of mutual respect and understanding, to find consensus on the youth sector’s priorities and objectives<\/a><\/strong>?<\/p>\n\n\n\n Are you aged between 18 and 30?<\/p>\n\n\n\n Do you represent a non-governmental youth organisation or network in one of the 50 States Parties to the European Cultural Convention<\/a><\/strong> (ECC)?[1]<\/p>\n\n\n\n If yes, then this call may well interest you!<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Council of Europe youth sector is looking for young committed Europeans to sit on the Advisory Council on Youth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Council of Europe\u2019s youth sector<\/a><\/strong> works on the basis of a partnership between non-governmental youth organisations and governments in what is known as the co-management system<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Advisory Council is the non-governmental partner in this system. The European Steering Committee for Youth (CDEJ)<\/a><\/strong> is the governmental partner. Together, these two committees make up the Joint Council on Youth (CMJ)<\/a><\/strong> which, working on the basis of consensus and in a spirit of mutual respect and understanding, establishes the youth sector’s priorities<\/a><\/strong>, objectives and budgets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This call is to select 10 representatives from non-governmental youth organisations or networks, not members of the European Youth Forum<\/a><\/strong>, to apply for a seat on the Advisory Council on Youth for the two-year mandate from 2022-2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Deadline for applications: 3 May 2021, 6 p.m. CET<\/p>\n\n\n\n Only applications submitted on the official form will be accepted<\/p>\n\n\n\n Call for applications and presentation<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
