DJHT is the biggest summit for the child and youth welfare community in Europe. DJHT with more than 200 professional events, supports the qualification of experts and provides diverse stimuli. Europe@DJHT offers a broad programme in English.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
What\u2019s it all about?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
DJHT,\u202falso referred to in German as\u202fDeutscher\u202fKinder- und\u202fJugendhilfetag\u202f\u2013\u202fthe German Child and Youth Welfare Congress \u2013 is organised\u202fby Germany\u2019s\u202fChild and Youth Welfare Association (AGJ)\u202fevery\u202fthree or four\u202fyears, bringing together\u202fexperts and other interested individuals from all over Germany and Europe to\u202fexchange opinions and experiences\u202fand strengthen networks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Together with the AGJ, the German National Agency, JUGEND f\u00fcr Europa, organises a specialised\u202fEuropean programme of events at\u202f DJHT17.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Europe@DJHT invites participants (youth workers and trainers, youth project managers and youth policy makers, and youth researchers) to join in critical discussions of current challenges and topics for welfare of young people and youth policy across Europe. Besides, it provides an opportunity to networking, sharing of good practices and peer-learning. Therefore, join us!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
What\u2019s in it?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We will set up an exciting three-day programme built around the questions of what challenges youth work has to face and what youth work can offer in these challenging times in Europe. For all events of Europe@DJHT simultaneous interpretation into and from German and English will be available:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2192 Up to 30 events of the European programme Europe@DJHT, dealing with a variety of experiences, developments and trends in European youth work, European youth policy, international exchange and mobility as well as opportunities for further training for organisations and professionals from international youth work community. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2192 An expert forum entitled Shrinking Spaces: Youth Work under Pressure as part of Europe@DJHT discussing how space for civil society engagement and especially for youth work in Europe is affected by current political, social, legal and financial developments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
