Are you keen to get more recognition for youth work, for your organisation’s work, or for the learning of the young people involved? This seminar offers support for developing strategies that youth work organisations can implement in their environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Context<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In recent years, developments towards greater recognition of youth work and non-formal learning have taken place across Europe. Nevertheless, the recognition of youth work still needs to be increased at different levels. While some developments have been initiated, especially at the European policy level, their implementation is often limited, especially in more remote or rural areas. Initiatives of organisations and youth workers working at the grass-roots level are essential to contribute to strengthening the recognition of youth work, in terms of self-awareness, in their communities, at the level of existing structures, strategies or policies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Objectives<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This seminar aims to support participants in deepening their understanding of the recognition of non-formal and informal learning (NFIL) and youth work, and in developing strategies and actionable steps to enhance the recognition of youth work in their environments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In particular, it will:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
