Applicants must be nationals of or legal residents in the country of assignment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Description of task<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Under the direct supervision of the Project Manager and the Assistant Minister for International Cooperation and in close coordination with the Strategic Planning Department within the RS Government General Secretariat, the UN Volunteer will undertake the following tasks:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Assist in mainstreaming sustainable development goals (SDGs) into strategic and implementation documents in RS;<\/li><li>Support coordination and participation of local governments and socio-economic stakholders in SDG-based planning processes at the RS level;<\/li><li>Provide support to RS institutions in designing implementation documents and in monitoring and reporting processes;<\/li><li>Assist in conducting analyses of sustainable development trends in RS and support preparation of projections;<\/li><li>Support monitoring and evaluation of sustainable development policies in RS;<\/li><li>Assist in preparation and delivery of training programmes and other capacity development interventions related to the SDGs to policy makers and civil servants;<\/li><li>Support the work of the SDGs Council;<\/li><li>Support effective functioning of relevant practitioners&#8217; network;<\/li><li>Support exchange of knowledge and practices among stakeholders in implementation of the SDGs;<\/li><li>Perform other duties as required.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Qualifications\/Requirements<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Required degree level: Bachelor degree or equivalent<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Education &#8211; Additional Comments:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>University Degree in Economics, Law, Political Science or other related fields.
