{"id":47847,"date":"2025-09-11T11:15:30","date_gmt":"2025-09-11T09:15:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mladibl.com\/?p=47847"},"modified":"2025-09-11T11:22:45","modified_gmt":"2025-09-11T09:22:45","slug":"call-for-applications-youth-4-inclusion-equality-trust-y4iet","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mladibl.com\/?p=47847","title":{"rendered":"CALL FOR APPLICATIONS: Youth 4 Inclusion, Equality &#038; Trust (Y4IET)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Are you passionate about using art and culture to promote inclusion, diversity and trust?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Do you want to work with peers and mentors across the region to celebrate diversity and create real impact in your community?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If yes, we encourage you to apply and become part of a regional network of changemakers!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About the Program<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Foundation BFPE for a Responsible Society, supported by UNDP Serbia, and in cooperation with UNDP &amp; UNFPA Albania, is inviting youth to participate in a chain of activities organized within the regional joint UN initiative Youth 4 Inclusion, Equality &amp; Trust (Y4IET), supported by the UN Secretary-General\u2019s Peacebuilding Fund.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are looking for 25 young artists and community leaders (aged 20\u201329) who want to design and implement community-based initiatives and projects that foster inclusion, equality, and trust in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Why apply?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a selected participant, you will:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Join a dynamic community of young artists and community leaders across the region<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Collaborate with experienced mentors in your field<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Design and implement your own community-based initiative during a structured mentorship phase<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Your initiative should be rooted in one or more of the following creative fields:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Photography<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Video\/Filmmaking<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Writing\/Journalism<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Theatre\/Performance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Visual Arts\/Design<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Digital Media\/Social Media Campaigns<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Focus Areas Could Include:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Shared art, culture, and traditions in the region<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Innovative awareness-raising campaigns<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Addressing youth cooperation and regional challenges<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Other relevant topics identified by youth<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Examples of Creative Outputs:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Short videos, vlogs, or human-interest stories<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Articles, essays, comics<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Theater, dance, or performance art<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Podcasts, living libraries (local or regional)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Visual arts: data-art, illustrations, photography<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Music, spoken word, rap\/hip-hop activism<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Digital tools: mobile apps, interactive installations, games<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Implementation Criteria:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We strongly encourage <strong>regional collaboration<\/strong>, and priority will be given to projects that engage youth, artists, or communities across the region.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Projects must be <strong>regionally relevant<\/strong> and <strong>feasible to implement remotely<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Whether you\u2019re <strong>documenting untold stories<\/strong>, <strong>launching a multimedia campaign<\/strong>, or <strong>staging a regional performance<\/strong>, your <strong>vision matters<\/strong>\u2014and it has the power to <strong>drive positive messages<\/strong> throughout the region.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Program Components<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Only 25 participants will be selected to take part in the full program, which includes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> 3-day Regional Workshop\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0  Ruma, Serbia |  10 \u2013 12 October 2025<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> 3-day Creative Boot Camp\u00a0\u00a0  Albania |  October\/November 2025<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> Mentorship Phase\u00a0\u00a0  Implement your community-based project with expert guidance I  2025- 2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\uf0d8<\/strong><strong> Participation in all activities is mandatory<\/strong>. Availability, active contribution, and commitment throughout the entire program are required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The working language is English.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The organizers will cover all travel, accommodation, and food expenses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Participants will be mentored, and selected initiatives will receive financial support for their implementation as part of the program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Minimum Eligibility Criteria<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Applicants must meet the following criteria:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Age: 20\u201329 years old<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Community Influence: Have influence in their community or be part of a youth network; potential community leaders or digital influencers with a proven ability to mobilize peers around social issues<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience in Arts\/Media: Prior involvement in journalism, cinematography, theater, painting, graphics, broadcasting, filmmaking, or related creative fields<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Motivation: Clear passion for media, storytelling, and social change<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Communication Skills: Ability to express ideas clearly and work collaboratively in teams<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Creativity &amp; Innovation: A drive to think differently and explore new approaches<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Adaptability: Ability to work in dynamic and fast-changing environments<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Professionalism: Responsible, punctual, and respectful conduct<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Technical Skills: Basic skills in video editing, design, or coding are an advantage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>We especially encourage applications from:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Women<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Roma \/ minority youth<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>LGBTQ+ individuals<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Youth with disabilities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Other marginalized or underrepresented groups<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>HOW TO APPLY<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Submit your completed application via <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/B6q1KFiV436NAaqv6\">LINK<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Send supporting materials via:\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:ddjordjevic@bfpe.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ddjordjevic@bfpe.org<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Application Deadline EXTENDED: 14.
