They are provided by the Slovak Agency for International Development Cooperation (SAIDC) through the Slovak Embassy in Sarajevo. A similar approach will be applied in this round. Only projects with a reasonable and cost-effective budget will be considered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-project-duration\">Project Duration<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Each project must last between&nbsp;<strong>6 and 12 months<\/strong>, beginning immediately after the entry into force of the small grant agreement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-sector-priorities\">Sector Priorities<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Projects must relate to sectors defined by the Medium-term Strategy for Development Cooperation of the Slovak Republic for 2025\u20132030, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Infrastructure and sustainable use of natural resources<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 environmental protection, water and waste management, green economy, renewable energy, disaster risk reduction, sustainable urban development<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Food security and agriculture<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 agri-food chain development, job creation, sustainable ecosystem use, modern techniques and technologies<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Support for a market-oriented environment<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 support to MSMEs, innovation, digitalisation, corporate responsibility<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Good health<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 healthcare for mothers and children, nutrition, mental health, health worker training, awareness-raising<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Quality education<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 vocational and general education, teacher training, infrastructure improvement<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Good governance and civil society development<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 rule of law, participation, decentralisation, conflict prevention, crisis management, digitalisation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-cross-cutting-themes\">Cross-cutting Themes<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Environment and climate change<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 biodiversity protection, Paris Agreement implementation, climate resilience, ecosystem services<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Gender equality<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 elimination of discrimination and violence, women\u2019s inclusion in public life and the economy, access to education and healthcare<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Project proposals not aligned with the focus of this call will not be accepted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-eligible-applicants\">Eligible Applicants<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The call is open to registered:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>non-entrepreneurial (non-commercial) legal entities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>non-governmental organizations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>local and regional self-government units<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The following applicants are not eligible:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>legal entities subject to international sanctions under Act No. 289\/2016 Coll. of the Slovak Republic<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>legal entities against which the Slovak Republic has a financial claim<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-deadline-for-submission\">Deadline for Submission<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The deadline for submission of project proposals is&nbsp;<strong>17 July 2025<\/strong>. Proposals must be submitted both:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Electronically to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:emb.sarajevo@mzv.sk\">emb.sarajevo@mzv.sk<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In hard copy to: Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Sarajevo, Trnovska 6, 71 000 Sarajevo<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Hard-copy applications must be&nbsp;<strong>completed, signed and stamped<\/strong>&nbsp;and must include all relevant documentation (registration documents and CVs of key implementation personnel in English). The deadline for submission is&nbsp;<strong>17 July 2025 at 15:00<\/strong>. Applications submitted after this deadline will not be considered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Applicants are encouraged to ensure a high quality of the application.
