The European Commission\u2019s support for the production of this publication does not constitute an endorsement of the contents, which reflect the views only of the authors, and the Commission nor EACEA can be held responsible for any use which may be made of the information contained therein.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">ABOUT THE PROJECT<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Project Youth4Values supports active citizenship and political participation of youth in partner countries, coming from 3 different European regions. As well as, the project will foster the development of social and intercultural competencies, critical thinking, and soft and transversal skills. The focus will be on raising awareness of and understanding the European Union context, European identity, and the importance of active participation in decision-making processes at the local level, especially among youngsters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This Youth Exchange aims to equip participants with the skills and knowledge necessary to understand the importance of active citizenship and political participation and to explain democracy as a core value of our society which each individual is equally important, and in which each individual has an equal balance between rights and obligations. This mobility will focus on the explanation and research of key principles of representative democracy, and the European Convention on Human Rights. After this Youth Exchange, participants will be able to understand and acknowledge features of \u201cideal democracy\u201d, such as effective participation, equally in voting, an informed electorate, citizen control of the agenda, inclusion, and fundamental rights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">ABOUT THE HOST ORGANIZATION<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Bosnian Representative Association for Valuable Opportunities (BRAVO) is a non-profit and non-governmental organization. BRAVO is a professional organization based and focused on knowledge, entrepreneurship, civil society development, non-formal education and innovative learning and development techniques for young people and adults.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What makes this organization outstanding and ready to take responsibility are our key principles: tolerance, democracy, diversity, voluntariness and openness. We promote partnerships between the private sector, public sector and civil society for sustainable community development, advocating for the education of young people with an emphasis on skills needed in the 21st century, investing in entrepreneurship, innovation, non-formal education and sustainable local community development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">PARTICIPANT PROFILE<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Age: 16 \u2013 30<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Language Skills: English speaking participants<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Willing to take on project tasks and responsibilities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Interested in the topic of the project<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tolerant towards all identities (language, religion, nationality, gender\u2026)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ready to collaborate in a multicultural environment and engage in intercultural learning<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">ACCOMMODATION, FOOD &amp; TRAVEL<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2013 All the accommodation and food cost are 100% covered<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2013 Travel costs will be refunded<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2013 Participants will find different types of food that can meet their dietary needs<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2013Venue:&nbsp;<strong>BM International Hotel <\/strong>\u2013 located between the city center and Ilid\u017ea and offers comfort and quality service. It features separate bedrooms, kitchens, dining areas, and free internet. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be provided, as well as two coffee breaks daily.
