As a volunteer, you will contribute to educational initiatives, youth work and community outreach by inspiring local communities to embrace sustainable practices. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the fields of environmental awareness, sustainability and climate action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n VOLUNTEER ACTIVITIES<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2013 Educational Initiatives: Organize workshops, lectures and outdoor activities on topics like sustainability, zero waste and environmental protection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2013 Youth and Community Engagement: Engage young people through digital platforms and inspire them to participate in environmental causes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2013 Promoting Sustainable Practices: Coordinate eco-friendly events such as clean-up drives, bicycle tours and exhibitions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2013 Project Support: Assist with research, analysis and educational resource development for community-focused projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n PARTICIPANT PROFILE<\/p>\n\n\n\n We are looking for motivated young people who are passionate about environmental issues and community service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2013 Age range: 18 to 30 years old.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2013 Background check: Required (due to work with children).<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2013 Open to all, regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, or education level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n WHAT WE OFFER:<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2013 Accommodation: Volunteers will be provided with comfortable living arrangements in Skopje.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2013 Financial Support: Monthly stipends for food, transportation and pocket money.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2013 Language Training: Basic Macedonian language courses will be available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2013 Working Hours: 6 hours per day, Monday to Friday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2013 Target Groups: Local youth, children and the broader community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Age:<\/strong> over 18 years;<\/p>\n\n\n\n Occupation:<\/strong> youth workers, junior journalists, students \/majoring in Communications, Media, Social Activities, other relevant to the topic majors\/, bloggers and vloggers, human rights activists, volunteers in youth organizations, teachers;<\/p>\n\n\n\n Additional preferences<\/strong>: Experience in online communications; Experience in working with disadvantaged young people;<\/p>\n\n\n\n Working language<\/strong>: English \u2013 written and spoken;<\/p>\n\n\n\n Logistics requirements<\/strong>: to be present throughout the trainin<\/p>\n\n\n\n 6 days accommodation and meals will be covered by the project. Travel expenses will be reimbursed to the participants after the training course, based on their actual costs and not exceeding the Erasmus+ distance calculator band as follows: Bosnia and Herzegovina \u2013 275 Euro<\/p>\n\n\n\n COVID-19 tests<\/strong> (antigen or PCR) are not covered by the project, but if a participant is under their travel budget and a test is needed, the differece could be used to cover those expenses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The reimbursement for your travel expenses will be made through bank transfer after the training and within 45 days from the date when we receive the originals of your travel documentation by post.
