5 April 2025 | LECCE, Italy<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A training course to upskill-upgrade-update competences and understanding of Intercultural Learning and Cultural Diversity<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>&#8220;Threads 2025: Weaving Intercultural Futures\u201d<\/strong> strives to explore the changing dynamics of intercultural learning and cultural diversity, reflecting on past approaches while envisioning future possibilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The main aim od the training is to enhance participants&#8217; competences in facilitating intercultural learning and promoting cultural diversity, with a focus on evolving practices and applying these concepts to everyday contexts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Objectives:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>Explore Evolution:<\/em> To reflect on how the concepts of intercultural learning and cultural diversity have evolved over time in the fields of education and non-formal learning.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Build Competences: <\/em>To provide participants space for upgrading their competences &#8211; with advanced methods, approaches to address intercultural learning in their professional and personal contexts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Daily-Life Perspective:<\/em> To encourage participants to integrate intercultural thinking and actions into their everyday lives (\u201cthink daily, think interculturally\u201d).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Collective Vision: <\/em>To co-create and envision innovative approaches to intercultural learning that align with current and future societal needs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Methodologies<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Through non-formal learning approaches, collective thinking\/reflections, participants will be involved with engaging methodologies, exchange of (good\/bad) practices, and co-create new perspectives on intercultural learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Learning Outcomes:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Strengthen individual competences and innovative approaches in intercultural contexts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Deepen understanding of the evolution of intercultural changes in societies and acquire new tools.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Recognize triggers and strengths in intercultural contexts in daily life and modern work environments.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reinforce the international network of youth and social workers by sharing best practices and ideas.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What to Expect<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Engaging training sessions led by experienced facilitators.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hands-on activities and participatory methods to deepen your understanding.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Opportunities for peer learning and networking with a diverse group of participants.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reflective discussions on the future of intercultural learning and cultural diversity.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Participants Profile<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This training course is designed for educators, trainers, youth workers, facilitators and other professionals who are committed to fostering intercultural understanding and inclusivity in their work and daily lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Age: 18 and older.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Interested in intercultural contexts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Creative and open-minded.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Eager to engage with other youth workers and cultures.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Motivated to enhance their intercultural competencies and share learning experiences with an international group.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proficient in English.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Priority will be given to economically or geographically disadvantaged participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Date and Location:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>29\/03\/2025 Arrival day &#8211;
