Get certification aligned with the European Training Strategy (ETS) model for youth workers. Apply now!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The training course will <strong>contribute to developing youth workers&#8217; \u201cNetworking and Advocating\u201d competence<\/strong> based on the ETS Competence model for youth workers to work internationally:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To gain knowledge about youth policy, youth work system and recognition practices in one\u2019s own and international context<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To increase readiness to represent young people\u2019s and youth workers\u2019 needs, interests and rights<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To develop skills in identifying relevant advocacy partners and targets in local and international environments<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To increase skills in producing and communicating advocacy content in-person and online<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To increase skills in networking and associating with peer professionals to reach an expected impact<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Highlights of this training activity:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This course is part of the Erasmus+ <strong>long-term accreditation programme<\/strong> implemented by NGO Awero together with it\u2019s partners. More about the programme:<a href=\"http:\/\/https\/\/awero.org\/en\/ets-modular-trainings-and-certfication%C2%A0\"> https:\/\/awero.org\/en\/ets-modular-trainings-and-certfication&nbsp;<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Aligned to the ETS competence model for Youth Workers<\/strong> &#8211; the course objectives and content are aligned with professional competences expected for Facilitating Learning in international youth work settings<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Focuses primarily on <strong>international youth work context <\/strong>&#8211; how to advocate and represent interests of young people and youth workers<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Certified training<\/strong> &#8211; the broad coalition of partners will create opportunities for the course participants to assess, validate and recognise competence development at the international level and in specific countries (if possible).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Digitally friendly<\/strong>\u2014The training and competence assessment methodology and activities will include using digital tools and platforms, such as the YouthWorkPathways.net platform and digital Open Badges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Long-term development opportunity <\/strong>&#8211; participants willing to continue to develop their professional youth work competences will be invited to apply for the upcoming training courses on other competence areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Endorsed<\/strong> by the broad partnership of Cities of Learning members, and other national and international organisations from the youth work field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Participants profile.&nbsp;<\/strong>This course is for people who are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Youth workers*<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Youth work managers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Youth worker association representatives dealing with advocacy<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Youth trainers and facilitators<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Youth programme and project managers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Directly involved in representing the interests of youth and youth workers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Age: from 18 years.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Language: a sufficient level of English is necessary to participate in this course.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Eligible countries: Erasmus+ Programme countries and countries of our project partners (Armenia, Belarus, Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>*Youth worker is <\/strong>understood as someone who works with young people in a wide variety of non-formal and informal learning contexts, typically focusing on young people&#8217;s personal and social development through one-on-one relationships and group-based activities.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>**\u201dNetworking and advocating\u201d <\/strong>competence means developing and managing partnerships with other relevant actors. It\u2019s the ability to facilitate networking with others (in their community and outside it) and advocate for the value of youth work. It\u2019s about being conscious on (political) values and beliefs and abilities to support young people in developing independent \u2018political thought\u2019.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>&nbsp;(Source: European Training Strategy Competence model for youth workers working internationally)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Digital credentials and certification<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This training activity is a unique opportunity for participants to use up-to-date and digital recognition solutions, such as digital <strong>Open Badge<\/strong>s and https:\/\/youthworkpathways.org&nbsp; platform.
