The European Commission\u2019s support for the production of this publication does not constitute an endorsement of the contents, which reflect the views only of the authors, and the Commission nor EACEA can be held responsible for any use which may be made of the information contained therein.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">ABOUT THE PROJECT<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Disasters in the realities of the world affect nations and countries from various perspectives. We encounter many different disasters in our living spaces, impacting societies psychologically, socially, economically, and socioculturally. In addition to natural disasters, societies face various human-made disasters, such as those caused by nuclear, biological, and industrial accidents, as well as issues involving immigrants, displaced people, and wars. The importance and diversity of disasters vary by country. According to the World Meteorological Organization (WMO), between 1970 and 2019, 50% of the disasters reported were related to air, climate, and water hazards. These accounted for 45% of the reported deaths and 74% of all reported economic losses due to disasters. In Europe alone, 1,672 disasters were recorded, resulting in 159,438 deaths and $476.5 billion in economic damage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">PARTICIPANTS GOALS<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2013 Raising awareness of the management organization against disaster risks among young people.<br>\u2013 Involving young people in the necessary management organization during disasters.<br>\u2013 Ensuring the adoption of the blood donation movement by young people.<br>\u2013 Establishing the protection of both youth and society from disasters and managing emerging risks.<br>\u2013 Raising awareness of youth and society about disasters.<br>\u2013 Increasing communication and solidarity among European youth.<br>\u2013 Providing youth with the necessary management organization in the event of a disaster.<br>\u2013 Ensuring the adoption of the blood donation movement by the youth.<br>\u2013 Ensuring the interaction of technology in raising awareness of youth and society.<br>\u2013 Raising awareness of nature and environmental protection.<br>\u2013 Promoting Erasmus+ non-formal education and teaching international culture.<br>\u2013 Raising awareness of the management organization against disaster risks among young people.<br>\u2013 Minimizing or completely eliminating the occurrence of natural disasters caused by human activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">PARTICIPANTS PROFILE<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2013 Is 16-30 years old<br>\u2013 Is interested in the topic of the project<br>\u2013 Is able to communicate in English<br>\u2013 Participants must commit to participate in all stages of the project (preparation, mobility, and follow-up, including dissemination of project results)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">ACCOMMODATION, FOOD &amp; TRAVELLING<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Project Hotel: \u015eehit Mehmet \u00d6ter Uygulama Oteli<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Project activities will be implemented in the project hotel.
