Discover in this beginner&#8217;s course how you can organise inclusive Youth Exchanges in the Erasmus+ youth programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Discover the potential of Youth Exchanges<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In 3 training days,&nbsp;we show you the&nbsp;possibilities <strong>Erasmus+ Youth Exchanges<\/strong>&nbsp;have&nbsp;to offer for young people from disadvantaged backgrounds. An international youth project might just be the&nbsp;<strong>life-changing opportunity<\/strong> for the disadvantaged young people&nbsp;you are working with:&nbsp;e.g. those from minority backgrounds, with special needs, with socio-economic difficulties, discriminated groups, in difficult situations, with limited opportunities&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why participate?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>International Youth Exchanges are&nbsp;a rewarding methodology to<strong>&nbsp;reach your organisation\u2019s inclusion aims.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This &#8216;Youth Exchanges for ALL&#8217; course gives you&nbsp;<strong>concrete examples<\/strong>&nbsp;of what is possible, brings you in&nbsp;contact&nbsp;with other <strong>inclusion youth organisations<\/strong>, shows you what&nbsp;<strong>funding<\/strong>&nbsp;is available specifically for youth inclusion projects and walks you&nbsp;<strong>step-by-step<\/strong>&nbsp;through the process in case you would like to give it a try.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the end of the course,&nbsp;you will be <strong>ready to start organising a youth exchange&nbsp;with\/by\/for&nbsp;the young people with fewer opportunities<\/strong>&nbsp;in&nbsp;your organisation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Who is the course for?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This course is for&nbsp;<strong>NEWCOMERS to Erasmus+ Youth<\/strong>&nbsp;(e.g. youth worker, social worker,&#8230;) who are <strong>directly&nbsp;working with young people from disadvantaged backgrounds<\/strong>&nbsp;(e.g. facing social, economic, educational, geographic, cultural, health &amp; disability challenges).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If you\u00a0<strong>NEVER organised an international youth project<\/strong>\u00a0with your target group before and would like to know what is possible, then this course is for you!<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you\u00a0<strong>already organised mobility projects<\/strong>\u00a0for young people, please check the<a href=\"http:\/\/www.salto-youth.net\/training\">\u00a0European Training Calendar<\/a>\u00a0for a more appropriate youth work training because this course is for NEWCOMERS \ud83d\ude09<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>This course is\u00a0<strong>NOT for school-related activities<\/strong>\u00a0such as school exchanges or projects for pupils (please contact the\u00a0Lifelong Learning colleagues of Erasmus+\u00a0for this).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This course welcomes&nbsp;<strong>candidates with special needs<\/strong>&nbsp;(e.g. health conditions, disability, single mothers,&#8230;) Contact SALTO Inclusion <a href=\"mailto:tony@salto-youth.net\">tony@salto-youth.net<\/a> regarding support possibilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Important to know<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The\u00a0<strong>working language<\/strong> will be (international) English. Your English does not have to be perfect, but you need to be able to follow presentations and have discussions in English.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>There will be a\u00a0<strong>2-hour online preparation meeting<\/strong>\u00a0via Zoom, two weeks prior to the event.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We are\u00a0open to <strong>cater for different needs<\/strong>\u00a0so that everybody can participate (e.g. also persons with a disability or health condition, single mothers, persons with geographical disadvantage&#8230;).
