The main aim is to exchange experience, learn with and from each other in the terms of mixed-ability: Equity, Diversity and Inclusion. Ethics of communication with people with disabilities. What is Disability etiquette?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Stereotypes, misconceptions and lack of information about disability are the basis of social stigmatization, numerous prejudices, and also the reason why young people with disabilities are mostly involved only in “special” projects, which are created “specially” for such people and organized by “special” professional institutions, specializing in work with disabled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
However, numerous studies show that classes in mixed groups are much more effective and have a positive effect on both youth with and without disabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This project aims to dispel many stereotypes and demonstrate with practice and examples how working in joint groups can be successful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

EXCHANGE OF EXPERIENCE
Participants will share their good practices and successful stories, projects<\/p>\n\n\n\n
EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING
Participants will take part in meeting with a Polish Paralympic athlete Lucyna Kornobys <\/p>\n\n\n\n
ACTIVITIES
We will take advantage of beeing in mountains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We will attend the event in a group of people with disabilities and much more… A detailed program will be made available closer to the date of the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
PARTNERSHIP BUILDING ACTIVITY
Participants will have possibility to work on new common projects<\/p>\n\n\n\n
