How can we act, plan and envision for a future of youth work we don\u2019t know? If you want to discuss these questions with colleagues from European youth work and explore innovative practices, then join the 3rd EAYW \u2013 as a participant or workshop facilitator!<\/em><\/strong><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019re inviting 150 participants from across Europe and 4 workshop facilitators to bring the 3rd edition of the Academy to life! If interested, read on for more details.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 3rd EAYW event follows the successful first two editions, which were organised in May 2019 and May 2022 in Kranjska Gora, Slovenia, and brought together around 170 professionals from youth work practice, research, policy and related fields, including institutions supporting youth work at different levels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;<strong>specific objectives of the 3rd EAYW<\/strong>&nbsp;are to support knowledge-building, peer learning and networking to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Jointly explore emerging trends<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>future developments<\/strong>&nbsp;and discuss their possible impact on youth work;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Showcase and&nbsp;<strong>mainstream a variety of innovative practices, approaches and strategies<\/strong>&nbsp;developed in response to these developments and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Foster&nbsp;<strong>networking and innovative thinking about the futures of youth work<\/strong>&nbsp;within the community.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><br><strong>1) Call for participants&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>During the&nbsp;<strong>3-day programme<\/strong>, participants will be able to attend&nbsp;<strong>Workshops<\/strong>&nbsp;(<strong>Practice &amp; Reflection Forums)<\/strong>&nbsp;of their choice, where they will have the opportunity to explore innovative examples of practice from different fields and contexts of youth work, research and policy and addressing a variety of themes and target groups. There will also be discussions of&nbsp;<strong>inspiring inputs and the scenarios for future youth work<\/strong>&nbsp;developed within the EAYW Futures of Youth Work research project. Each day will end with&nbsp;<strong>reflective learning groups<\/strong>&nbsp;to discuss daily experiences and future actions in youth work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The EAYW targets youth workers and professionals from all fields related to youth work practice, policy and research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Interested in participating? Apply by 31st January!<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><br><strong>2) Call for workshop facilitators&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;<strong>workshop facilitators<\/strong>&nbsp;will be responsible for facilitating workshops, also called Practice and Reflection Forums,. We are planning four sessions of 1 1\/2 hours, where always 4 workshops will be held in parallel for groups of approx. 20 \u2013 30 participants.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Concretely, each facilitator will facilitate four workshops; support the preparation of the workshops and the inputs and role of the practice presenters (contributors) and support the process of reporting and evaluation of the workshops that they are responsible for. Guidelines for the process and for the workshops will be prepared by a member of the overall EAYW organisation team, who will also support the workshop facilitators in their tasks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Interested in facilitating?
