{"id":29453,"date":"2023-03-28T00:55:49","date_gmt":"2023-03-27T22:55:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mladibl.com\/?p=29453"},"modified":"2023-03-28T01:01:36","modified_gmt":"2023-03-27T23:01:36","slug":"training-course-facilitation-on-off","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mladibl.com\/?p=29453","title":{"rendered":"Training Course: Facilitation ON &#038; OFF"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>15-21 May 2023 | Oviedo, Spain<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cFacilitation ON &amp; OFF\u201d is a residential training course for youth workers, youth leaders and trainers who want to improve their competences in facilitation and group-management, with a strong focus on emotional dimension and dialogue support techniques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Facilitation is at the core of youth work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nonetheless, many times, educators and NFE practitioners deal with groups and teams without the necessary equipment of knowledge, experience and tools in terms of emotional management, self-awareness and facilitation skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cFacilitation ON &amp; OFF\u201d is a training course for youth workers, youth leaders and trainers who want to improve their competences in facilitation and group-management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Objectives:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>to acquire facilitation skills in non-formal education environments<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>to discover new tools and techniques to work with youth groups<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>to promote horizontal and participatory approaches to youth work<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>to learn how to prevent, manage and transform conflicts constructively<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>to support effective youth meetings and democratic decision making processes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Main contents:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>introduction to facilitation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>groups and teams<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>roles, ranks, leadership and power dynamics<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>conflict prevention and transformation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>emotional management<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>effective communication and facilitation of intercultural dialogues<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Methodology and pedagogical approach:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This training\/learning experience is developed around three main principles:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>REFLECTION: sharing experiences, debating and self-assessment about facilitation, youth groups and team management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>PRACTICE of facilitation techniques and tools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>TRANSFER of what has been learnt to the realities of the participants in order to improve their practice and the quality of youth work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In relation to the \u201cCompetence Model for Youth Workers to Work Internationally\u201d, this course will focus on: individual facilitation and group learning in an enriching environment, collaboration for successful teams, development of evaluation practices that generate and implement an appropriate change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The methodology will be based on key principles of Non-Formal Learning and will combine theoretical inputs with experiential learning, sharing of good practices and personal stories, reflections and self-assessment.
