Come and discover in this beginner&#8217;s course how you can organise volunteering activities for inclusion in the European Solidarity Corps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Discover the potential of volunteering projects for inclusion<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In 3 training days, we show you the possibilities that&nbsp;<strong>volunteering (within the European Solidarity Corps)&nbsp;<\/strong>has to offer for young people from disadvantaged or underprivileged backgrounds. A volunteering project might just be&nbsp;the&nbsp;<strong>life-changing opportunity<\/strong>&nbsp;for the disadvantaged young people you are working with:&nbsp;e.g. those from minority backgrounds, with access needs, with socio-economic difficulties, discriminated groups, in difficult situations, with limited opportunities, geographical disadvantage, health issues\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why participate?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Volunteering is a rewarding methodology to<strong>&nbsp;reach your organisation\u2019s inclusion aims.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Come and experience the benefits that&nbsp;<strong>international cooperation<\/strong>&nbsp;can have for your organisation and young people&nbsp;with fewer opportunities. Explore the&nbsp;<strong>funding possibilities&nbsp;<\/strong>of the European Solidarity Corps and&nbsp;<strong>specific inclusion support.<\/strong>&nbsp;Learn to design a volunteering project&nbsp;<strong>step-by-step<\/strong>&nbsp;(sending or hosting, individual or in group, international or in-country). Discover the various&nbsp;<strong>resources&nbsp;<\/strong>available for volunteering and inclusion. Get&nbsp;<strong>inspired&nbsp;<\/strong>by local examples and fellow participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the end of the course,&nbsp;you will be&nbsp;<strong>ready to start organising a volunteering project&nbsp;with\/by\/for&nbsp;the young people with fewer opportunities<\/strong>&nbsp;with&nbsp;your organisation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Who is the course for?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>This course is for&nbsp;<strong>NEWCOMERS to European Solidarity Corps<\/strong>&nbsp;(e.g. youth workers, social workers&#8230;) who are directly working with young people from disadvantaged backgrounds (e.g. facing social, economic, educational, geographic, cultural, health &amp; disability challenges)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you&nbsp;<strong>NEVER organised volunteering activities in the European Solidarity Corps&nbsp;<\/strong>with the young people with fewer opportunities whom you are working with and would like to know what is possible, then this course is for you!<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you&nbsp;<strong>already organised ESC volunteering projects<\/strong>, please check the&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.salto-youth.net\/training\">European Training Calendar<\/a>&nbsp;for a more appropriate youth work training courses because this &#8216;Volunteering for ALL&#8217; course is for NEWCOMERS \ud83d\ude09<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>This course is&nbsp;<strong>NOT for school-related activities<\/strong>&nbsp;such as school exchanges or projects for pupils (please contact the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/erasmus-plus.ec.europa.eu\/opportunities\/opportunities-for-individuals\">Lifelong Learning colleagues of Erasmus+<\/a>&nbsp;for this).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The course has a few places&nbsp;for&nbsp;<strong>applicants from neighbouring regions<\/strong>&nbsp;of the European Union&nbsp;(South-East Europe, Eastern Partnership Region, EuroMed region).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Important to know<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The&nbsp;<strong>working language<\/strong>&nbsp;will be (international) English. Your English does not have to be perfect, but you need to be able to follow presentations and have discussions in English.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>There will be a&nbsp;<strong>2-hour online preparation meeting<\/strong>&nbsp;via zoom, two weeks prior to the event.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We are&nbsp;open to&nbsp;<strong>cater for different needs<\/strong>&nbsp;so that everybody can participate (e.g. also persons with a disability or health condition, single mothers, persons with geographical disadvantage&#8230;).
