Ovaj put je rije\u010d o jednodnevnom treningu \u201dLEO\u201d koji \u0107e se odr\u017eati 8.12. u prostorijama BM International Business Center Hotela u Sarajevu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tra\u017eimo 5 u\u010desnika mu\u0161kog roda koji su zainteresovani da se vi\u0161e edukuju o na\u010dinima pru\u017eanje podr\u0161ke \u017eenama u procesu ostvarivanja njihovog liderstva i ekonomskog osna\u017eivanja. U\u010de\u0161\u0107em na ovom teningu, mladi \u0107e ste\u0107i osnovna znanja vezana za ulogu facilitatora i na\u010dine na koje mogu ste\u010deno znanje prenijeti drugima.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Trening je namijenjem mladim osobama mu\u0161kog roda izme\u0111u 18 i 30 godina koji su aktivno uklju\u010deni u lokalnu zajednicu i nastoje ste\u0107i nova iskustva.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jednodnevni trening \u0107e obuhvatiti sljede\u0107e teme:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>razlika u platama izme\u0111u \u017eena i mu\u0161karaca<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>nepla\u0107eni rad<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>rodni stereotipi<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>U\u010desnici \u0107e tako\u0111er razgovarati o glavnim izazovima \u017eenskog liderstva i rodne ravnopravnosti. Odabrani u\u010desnici \u0107e biti edukovani o na\u010dinima pru\u017eanja podr\u0161ke mladim \u017eenama koje nastoje stvoriti vlastito mjesto na tr\u017ei\u0161tu rada. U\u010de\u0161\u0107em na treningu, oni \u0107e nau\u010diti vi\u0161e o na\u010dinima na koje mogu biti uklju\u010deni u proces ekonomskog osna\u017eivanja \u017eena. Even when girls demonstrate leadership abilities or hold positions of power, the world fails to make them feel good because the mind model that we have is gendered \u201cmale.\u201d As a result, when girls adopt such a model, claiming that leaders are bold and make difficult decisions, they may experience cognitive dissonance (A. Sinclair, 2007). Men outnumber women in leadership positions in every sector of the world, including business, nonprofits, government, education, medicine, the military, and religion (Andrews, 2021). This gender gap, often referred to with the metaphor \u201cglass ceiling\u201d, represents one of the most critical challenges to achieve gender equity and allow equitable working opportunities to all genders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An extensive body of research claims that men can benefit from greater gender equality in that the pressure of being the primary breadwinner of the household is relieved, and they can develop healthier relationships with their wives and children. This view is particularly true in developing countries, where women have limited freedom and autodetermination (Connell, 2013 in Sweetman, 2013). Furthermore, research suggests that the most efficient social group to educate about women leadership and gender equality is the youth. It is critical to engage younger men in this process, especially for future generations of female entrepreneurs and business owners (IMAGES, 2010).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Given the urgency of achieving gender equity, which encompasses promoting women leadership and including men in the process, the capacity building project LEO \u2013 Leadership is for Everyone) was created. The project aims at enhancing women\u2019s leadership, developing NFE resources for youth workers and young people, promoting men\u2019s involvement in women\u2019s empowerment, and strengthening the synergies<br>between youth work and the labour market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This aim will be achieved through the following objectives:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Identifying young women\u2019s challenges in becoming leaders in partner countries and understanding how to address them during the first five months of the first year (research and gender assessment).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>By the end of the first year, we aim at having increased men\u2019s involvement in the process of women\u2019s empowerment and identified 20 (5 per partner country)positive masculinity figures to support the project and challenge traditional sexist stereotypes in their communities (gender assessment, training and e-courses).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To improve the qualifications and competencies of 5 youth workers in each partner country by the end of the first year in order to better support women\u2019s leadership (e-courses and training).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To make it easier for 20 women from each partner country to enter the labor force by August 2023. (internship programme, job shadowing, training and e-courses).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>By the end of the second year, partner countries should have a better understanding of young women\u2019s leadership and gender equality (3 local events, 1 career fair, e-courses, mediatic dissemination).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>And specific call\u2019s thematic areas:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>empowerment \/ engagement \/ employability of young people;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>anti-discrimination and gender equality; Overall, the LEO project efficiently contributes to the global effort to achieve gender equity and meets the EU Gender Equality Strategy Key Actions 2020-2025 (challenging gender stereotypes, boosting women\u2019s economic empowerment, ensuring equal opportunities in the labour market).
