U knjizi 7 navika visokou\u010dinkovitih ljudi Covey obja\u0161njava kako proaktivnim pristupom preuzimate odgovornost, kontrolu nad vlastitim \u017eivotom i djelujete u smjeru koji ste sami odredili.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tako\u0111er, smatra da je temelj proaktivnosti mogu\u0107nost izbora jer, u kona\u010dnici, sami biramo na\u010din na koji \u0107emo reagirati na ono \u0161to nam se doga\u0111a u \u017eivotu. Kako \u0107e odre\u0111eni doga\u0111aji utjecati na nas, odre\u0111uju na\u0161e reakcije. Ljudi kojima nedostaje proaktivnosti, imaju tendenciju na sebe gledati kao na \u017ertve okolnosti, smatraju\u0107i se nesposobnima promjeniti svoje reakcije.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Proaktivna osoba je, prema Coveyu, sposobna:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Postavljati ciljeve i raditi na njihovom ostvarenju.<\/li><li>Stvarati prilike, bez o\u010dekivanja da se one pojave same.<\/li><li>Preuzeti svjesnu kontrolu nad svojim \u017eivotom.<\/li><li>Razumjeti va\u017enost izbora u kreiranju svog \u017eivota.<\/li><li>Implementirati vlastita na\u010dela i temeljne vrijednosti u proces odlu\u010divanja.<\/li><li>Koristiti ma\u0161tu i biti kreativan pri istra\u017eivanju mogu\u0107ih alternativa.<\/li><li>Shvatiti da samostalno odabire svoj jedinstveni odgovor na neku situaciju.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Covey radi razliku izme\u0111u imati i biti. Primjerice, \u201cDa bar imam boljeg \u0161efa\u201d mo\u017eete zamijeniti s \u201cJa mogu biti u\u010dinkovitiji zaposlenik\u201d.<\/li><li>Ne ustru\u010davajte se potra\u017eiti podr\u0161ku.<\/li><li>Prona\u0111ite na\u010dine upravljanja vremenom i nemojte se preoptere\u0107ivati zadacima!
