Call for contributions extended till Thursday, 8th April

Are you considering applying to present a practice or initiative at the next EAYW, but you haven’t had the chance to do so yet? You can still submit your proposal!

The 2nd edition of the EAYW is scheduled to take place from 2 – 5 November. We are excited and hoping very much to be able meet with many stakeholders from the European youth work community in Slovenia at this time, to explore together the current developments and trends that are leaving their mark on youth work in Europe, especially in these challenging times that have been so strongly influenced by the pandemic and its various consequences.

In response to these trends and challenges, which developments and initiatives have been taken up and implemented in recent months and years and contributed to the further development and quality of youth work? What is happening in the youth work field across Europe that is pointing the way towards the future?

If you have initiated or been involved in any such initiative, you can still send your proposal for presenting it at the next EAYW. You can find the Call for Contributions here, including the link to the online form where proposals can be submitted.

We are looking for all kinds of examples of innovative initiatives and practices from all fields of youth work – including practice, education and training, research and policy – as well as studies focusing on quality and innovation in youth work in Europe. Geographically, we are looking forward to proposals from the wider Europe as well as the countries south of the Mediterranean Sea. You still have time until 8th April 2021, so hurry up! We are waiting for your proposals!

And don’t forget – if you’re not sure if your experience fits into this context, or if you have any further questions, don’t hesitate to contact us at the EAYW! Write to us an e-mail or on our Facebook page.
