TOSCA – training and support for organisations active in the volunteering actions in the European Solidarity Corps

Training Course

8-12 May 2023 | Denmark

The training activity aims to support and build up the capacities of organizations that actively participate in volunteering actions of the European Solidarity Corps, in order to ensure quality and impact in the respective projects.

Objectives and benefits of the training course

Part of the course is an obligatory online preparatory phase:

Before the residential training course in Denmark, there is a mandatory online preparatory phase. It aims to introduce basic information in order to establish common grounds as well as provide a place where participants will start to form a community of learners and will carry out first homework and assessments of their own organisation, local community and own needs.

The preparatory phase consists of an online meeting the 24th of April at 15.00-17.00 CET as well as self educating lessons on a online platform.

We are looking for participants who:

Team

The concept of the TOSCA is based on the experience of the network of National Agencies and established by a pool of trainers with the support of Resource Centres. The activity will be facilitated by two experienced trainers:

– Sabrina Apitz

– Pieter Jan Uyttersprot.

– Alexander Clausen (Danish National Agency)

Small steps for a better world

In our activities we support the principle of a safer space, where no one is discriminated or bullied because of their background or person. We want you to respect the same principles.

We also strive to make the world a little bit greener. This is why we are primarily choosing vegetarian diets whenever possible. Let us know if meat is a requirement – otherwise green meals will be the primary option.

The venue where we organise the event is accessible for wheelchairs. We will also consider your special needs so that you can fully participate in the training.
