A cycle of trainings aimed at improving quality of Youth work – the time is right for youth work to be professionalised in line with other human service practices such as formal education and psychology.
This Training will be dedicated to Modern sub-Cultures of the Youth.
The term “youth sub-culture” refers to the ways that young people conduct their lives. It involves interests, styles, behaviors, music, beliefs, vocabulary, clothes … approach to ecology, politics, gender, social issues …
The concept behind youth sub-culture is that Young person made of norms, behaviors and values that can very differ from the main culture of us – “older” generations.
We invite You to improve Your understanding of Sub-culture of young people, to be able better to understand their needs, expectations.
In our Training we will take a closer look at the 3 topics:
- Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity
- Environmental Issues and Climate Change
- Mental health
MAIN ACTIVITIES
EXCHANGE OF EXPERIENCE
Participants will share their good practices and successful stories, projects
EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING
Meeting with young people, representing different sub-cultures, with experts in sociaology, antropoly etc.
WINTER ACTIVITIES
We will take advantage of beeing in mountains in winter =) .
PARTNERSHIP BUILDING ACTIVITY
Participants will have possibility to work on new common projects.
