The Art of Listening and Mentoring Youth

E-learning / 12 March 2022 | Cyprus

We are inviting you to join this online event in which we will give the foundation of how to listen deeply to the needs of youth and how to mentor them in order to find their own unique way of being in the world.

One of the deepest needs of youth is to be heart and to be mentored in order to find their own unique way of being in the world. In the absence of true mature adults and wise elders, they are influenced by all sorts of media and channels, growing into adulthood physically but staying in adolescence psycho-spiritually.

And yet there are ways for us to support them.

We are calling you, to join this online event in which we will give the foundation of how to listen deeply to the needs of youth and how to mentor them. We will be presenting 4 archetypal ways of being a soulful mentor to youth, inspired by the “Wild Mind” book of Bill Plotkin. These archetypal ways are in fact innate resources which once cultivated and embodied, offer a rich way of offering transformational mentoring to youth.

Whether you are a youth worker, a youth trainer, a coach, a therapist, a teacher, a parent, a simply a human, the youth need you, the world needs you.

JOIN THE EVENT by filling in this form https://forms.gle/U52GLGZ3tMgadF9c6

The online event will be experiential and interactive, drawing on methods such as self-reflection, sharing, arts and nature.

The idea is to awaken and cultivate the deep knowing within.

A part of this event which corresponds to the presentation of the theory will be recorded and published on youtube for further use. You will be notified before the recording begins, so you can turn off your camera. (You are obviously invited to keep the camera on for the rest of the time in order to feed the space of trust and connection).

The event will be facilitated by Eleni Michail, Mindfulness and Soul Mentor. Find more about here www.elenimichail.com
