If you’re building a startup that can scale, investors should know about you — Business Angel Summit is that opportunity
For five years running, Business Angel Summit has been bringing together startups and investors searching for the next big stories from the region. Now we’re looking for a new generation of founders.
Foundation 787 and the BHBAN network invite ambitious pre-seed and seed startups from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Serbia, Albania, Kosovo, North Macedonia, and Montenegro to apply for the Business Angel Summit 2026 (BAS26), taking place from October 7–9, 2026 in Sarajevo.
Over the past five years, BAS has become a place where startups come for more than just a pitch. They come for the chance to sit at the same table as investors, VC funds, and the people who can accelerate their next stage of growth. This year, BAS will once again bring together over 200 investors, funds, and key startup ecosystem stakeholders from the region and Europe, opening the door for founders to present their ventures at the most significant gathering of the investment community in the region.
What do you get as part of BAS26?
Selected startups go through an intensive preparation programme and get the opportunity to:
- work with mentors to sharpen their pitch ahead of the summit;
- present their startup in the semi-final pitch sessions;
- be among up to five startups that will pitch on the BAS26 main stage in front of investors and funds;
- build direct connections with investors, partners, and startup leaders from across the region and Europe;
- have travel and accommodation costs covered for one team member.
