Partnership-building Activity
25 June – 1 July 2026 | Terrassa-Barcelona, Spain
Interference is a partnership-building activity using radio for social inclusion. Youth workers share practices, co-create podcasts, and connect community media across Europe, fostering collaboration, synergies, and future joint projects.
Interference emerges from a shared interest in strengthening the work carried out by community radios managed by associations, as well as learning from similar initiatives in different contexts.
On the one hand, the project aims to explore the potential of radio as a tool for social inclusion. On the other, it seeks to understand and develop innovative methodologies that foster active involvement of local communities.
This contact-making seminar will bring together motivated youth workers with experience in radio practice, who are interested in improving their daily work and becoming part of a network of professionals sharing a passion for community media.
During the seminar, participants will engage in discussions on social inclusion and community work, exchange best practices and innovative tools, and co-create podcasts. The programme will also include visits to community radio stations in Barcelona and to Ràdio La Víbria in Terrassa. Additionally, a booklet compiling information about all participating organisations will be produced.
