ABOUT THE PROJECT
“Civil Society Initiatives Strengthened with Information and Data Security” is a KA220 Erasmus+ project coordinated by SETA (Türkiye) and carried out in partnership with organizations from North Macedonia, Norway, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Belgium, and Türkiye. Funded by the Turkish National Agency and the European Commission, the project aims to strengthen digital literacy, cybersecurity awareness, and data protection skills across civil society while promoting inclusion and diversity. It supports individuals and institutions in adapting to digital transformation and developing resilience against cyber threats and disinformation.
The project delivers several key outputs, including comprehensive digital literacy and cybersecurity training modules, specialized trainings designed for disadvantaged and disabled groups, and a Strategic Digital Transformation Guide to help institutions effectively plan and manage their digital transformation processes. In addition, the project produces awareness materials and campaigns on safe digital practices and establishes a strong international collaboration network that connects partner countries for long-term capacity building and cooperation.
PROJECT OBJECTIVES
By the end of the program, participants will have the capacity to
- confidently use essential digital tools,
- collaborate online in an organized and efficient way,
- present and promote their organization’s work,
- design simple visual materials,
- strengthen their organization’s digital presence, and
- develop a practical 3-month digital transformation roadmap.
PARTICIPANT PROFILE
- Be actively involved in a non-profit, civil society organization, youth NGO, community-based group, or social initiative.
- Have beginner or intermediate-level experience with digital tools and be open to improving their skills.
- Be motivated to use digital platforms to enhance communication, visibility, cooperation, and project management within their organization.
- Show willingness to participate in interactive sessions, group work, and hands-on digital tasks.
- Preferably be interested in topics such as:
- Digital transformation and innovation
- Online collaboration tools
- Social media communication
- Project development and management
- Community engagement
ACCOMMODATION, FOOD & TRAVEL
- The actual training activity will be happening in the NGO Info Centre of the City of Skopje, located in the Youth Cultural Centre (on the first floor). The venue is in the main city center, overlooking the shores of the river Vardar, very close to the main square and the Old Bazaar (walking distance). - Taking in consideration the venue of the training activities, which is in the centre of the city, we propose any type of accommodation that is fulfilling the budget needs of the participants and the organizations.
