DigCompEdu 2.0 is an Erasmus+ training course helping educators develop practical digital skills, explore AI in education, and create engaging learning materials through hands-on workshops.
DigCompEdu 2.0: Boost Your Teaching Skills with Technologies
This is an international Erasmus+ training course taking place from April 27 to May 4, 2026, in the Czech Republic. The project is designed for educators, youth workers, and professionals in formal and non-formal education who want to meaningfully integrate digital tools into their everyday teaching practice.
The training focuses on the practical use of technology in education, with strong emphasis on hands-on learning, experimentation, and peer exchange. Participants will work with tools such as Canva, Genially, and other digital platforms, while also gaining a foundational understanding of how artificial intelligence can support teaching, assessment, and student engagement. The goal is not theory for theory’s sake, but skills participants can realistically take home and use.
Throughout the course, participants will develop their ability to create and manage digital educational resources, apply digital tools in teaching and evaluation, and support learners in building essential digital competences for the future. The program encourages mutual learning, sharing of best practices, and collaboration among participants from different countries and educational backgrounds.
The project is implemented by Genesis, a Czech NGO with long-term experience in education, innovation, and non-formal learning, in cooperation with trainers specialized in educational technologies, media literacy, and gamified learning approaches. All main costs are covered by the Erasmus+ program, making the training accessible while maintaining a strong focus on quality and real impact.
