ABOUT THE PROJECT
The project aims to combat youth radicalization in the Balkans by addressing its root causes through youth work practices.
The second phase of the project, taking place in Denmark from May 23rd to 29th , 2025, will focus on combating youth radicalization in the Balkans. It aims to address the root causes of extremism through youth work practices, exploring effective strategies to prevent radicalization and promote social inclusion.
The project consists of two Training Courses, a Study Visit and local activity phase in which all of the participants will take part. The Training Course will be held using non-formal methodology and learning by doing approach.
PARTICIPANT PROFILE
- participants must be at least 25 years old (exceptions may be made for highly qualified candidates)
- should have a professional, personal, or educational background related to the project field and be either studying or working in it.
- participants should be committed to sharing the project’s results within their local communities and actively engaged in dissemination and follow-up activities.
- priority should be given to active members, volunteers, youth workers, youth leaders, multipliers, or trainers, especially those working in media literacy, radicalization prevention, or related fields.
- fluency in english and openness to different cultures are required
- participants must be available for all project activities, with exceptions only for emergencies or illness
- a willingness to promote the project and its outcomes after completion is expected.
ACCOMMODATION, FOOD & TRAVEL
- Venue: Store Klaus – Scout House, Almagerbakke 28, 3660 Stenløse
- Besides the necessities, the facilities include: bonfire, indoor fireplace, football field & gritty running/ jogging tracks, big terrace.
- Travel costs will be refunded
- Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be provided.
